1. This is done the next day or second day after the application of KACA’s Brown base. It can also be applied immediately after washing the brown base, but not if you are prone to get a cold or headache.
2. Mix one packet, i.e., 75 gms of hair darkener with plain water to make it into a paste of smooth consistency.
3. Apply some oil on the face, ears, back and neck to avoid stains.
4. Wear gloves and apply a thick layer of paste by parting the hair and working in small sections. This method of application is similar to that of brown base (Refer illustration). Ensure even coverage from root to tip. The application should be done within 10 minutes of mixing the darkener with water.
5. Pile hair on top of your head and cover with a plastic (provided) cap to avoid spilling.
6. Wipe all the paste that spills over your neck, back and forehead to avoid stains.
7. Wait for 60–90 minutes. Do not let it dry; the longer, the better. (People who tend to get headaches with wet hair avoid keeping it for a long time. Apply it during a hot day. While it is in use, apply eucalyptus oil to the forehead, neck and back and later have a hot water bath)
8. Rinse your hair with plain water until the water that runs off is clear. Rinse out most of the paste, APPLY THE GIVEN CONDITIONER, wait for about 2–3 minutes and rinse completely.
9. Do not use a comb on wet hair. Use a knot-removing metal rod to dry your hair.
